I wonder what the electrical power consumption of an Aptera Typ1 will be...? Does anyone have any info on it? 8 kWh, 12kWh, 20kWh? Even if it is just a rumour, please let me know... |

Hi, the Aptera CEO said something about a 300 mpg equivalent in one of the many videos on the web (for instance on autobloggreen). With my Twike and the new LiIon batteries I get a "real world" mileage of about 373 US mpg. My Twike uses batteries with 20 Ah at 360 V. I need 7,7 kWh to recharge the batterie completely (that's "measured at the socket" meaning "charging inefficiencies included"). If you knew the battery Ah and voltage of the Aptera we could do the math. Cheers Frank |
