GM chooses battery pack supplier

LG Chem a South Korean company is providing the battery pack for the Chevrolet Volt. T&Cs of a supply contract are currently worked out and to be announced in November this year.

Other competitors were Germany's Continental AG and U.S.-based A123 Systems.
