There is one interesting way to use CO2 and turn it into a useful product - use it to make gasoline. This is how it can be done: "Using concentrated solar energy for power, a research team from Sandia National Laboratories is building a prototype device intended to chemically “reenergize” carbon dioxide into carbon monoxide using concentrated solar power.
