Hi guys! Are you all aware of the race around the globe that has been going on since August?
It's starting up again in Vancouver on November 7th. Go here to find out more: http://www.zero-race.com/

There are 4 Electric cars involved.
Our company Potential Difference has patented the technology to convert cars to Electric and our High performance all-electric demonstration car - one of very few running all-electric luxury 5 Passenger Sedans - has arrived! Top speed is over 100 mph, and range between charges is 140 miles. We used a brand new Acura TL as the chassis and body shell around an all-electric drive train that we have built, powered by 40 kilowatt hours of lithium iron phosphate batteries. Recharge time is about 3 hours.

This car could be the support vehicle which transports race director Louis Palmer through the North American leg of the Zero Emissions race (Vancouver, San Fran, LA, Austin, Cancun, Mexico City and then back towards Europe and on to the finish line in Geneva).

We need YOUR HELP - to make this possible!!
You can follow us on Twitter: www.twitter.com/electriccartour

I'd love to hear what you think about this project. We have 26 days to go to raise some money to get us in and help support this Global drive towards NO MORE GASOLINE!!

Actually there are only three vehicles left, the PowerPlaza Team dropped out after only a few thousand kilometers in Berlin. And only one of them is actually a car, the other two are motorycles. I attend the first day of their journey driving up a mountain pass in Switzerland and and it was great fun.
But I also do see that the interest of the public in such events has dropped a little. There are now so many zero emission events already, that a certain grade of saturation has been reached. Don't get me wrong, interest in EVs is still on the rise, but with events like this becoming more frequent, the interest in each event decreases.

I thought that Louis Palmer would use his own support vehicle...like he did so far...

Raise money??? Is the highest paying contender getting the support vehicle job then? Can you elaborate on this?
