Mitsubishi has started to sell its electric vehicle i-MiEV. Reason enough to launch this forum. While the car is not yet available in all countries, it would be interesting to hear where this car can be tested. It will be interesting how well the car is being sold. Does anyone have exact figures? |

Does anyone have exact figures? Have seen it in December 2009 at the COP15 in Copenhagen. So I think it is sold in DK since 2009. Here is an overview with all cars have been there. Hello, I did some more research on this and the car is launched in continental Europe in late 2010. It should arrive in Denmark summer 2011. The UK is a step ahead with a Mitsubishi electric vehicle center in London. I am not sure thoughhow long it takes until you get one when ordering today. Anyone knows? |

We were part of the Mitsubishi i MiEV trial in the UK last year. They have now set up dealers around the UK and the first ones have been delivered. During the trial we kept a Blog of our use in our everyday life. We averaged 22 miles per day of good fun, clean driving. Hi all, It seems that the i-MiEV hasn't sold in big numbers yet. But it's nice to hear that some orders were placed. So we should see some of them around town soon! Last autumn I've tried to schedule a test-ride in Switzerland, but was rejected because the car was unavailable and mostly at exhibitions etc... I think I will give it another try soon to see what it's like! |

Here in Vorarlberg/Austria about 120 i-MiEVs were ordered as part of the VLOTTE project. http://www.vlotte.at My private used i-MiEV is from VLOTTE. You can find some info (in german language) on: http://www.umdenken.at/content/view/41/1/ Best regards, Herbert |

Hi Herbert, I am glad to hear that the VLOTTE project is well underway. According Mitsubishi Switzerland the i-MiEV should be available for sale here as well now. In case your car needs to be fixed or serviced, can any Mitsubishi service do it, or are there only limited numbers of service centers available for the i-MiEV? Would you be able to get charged up at any Mitsubishi garage in case there is nor public charging point available? |

Hello, I live in the San Francisco Bay Area (lots of hills) and put in my deposit with Mitsubishi the first day they opened their site. I need an electric to tool around town and this one seems to suit my needs perfectly. It will be interesting to see how it does in the hills (my house is at 1000'). Since most of my round trips are less than 20 miles, I should be ok. I'll find out! I hope to take delivery in the next year or so. Armando |

Hi Armando, Welcome to our forums...I am sure you will be doing fine with this car. How long is the waiting time in the US for delivery at the moment? |
