Nissan to build 400 charging stations in Europe

Nissan released a press release saying it would build 400 charging stations across Europe beginning Feb 2012. It's planned that all 400 stations will be installed by 2015. With the charging stations it should be possible to recharge a LEAF to 80 SOC in 30 minutes. Has anyone more news how they look like, where they are going to be built and with how much ampere will be charged? And how does Nissan ensure that power comes from renewable sources? Or do they not care anyway? |

Here's a link to the number of charging stations in the U.S. As you can see, California obviously has the most with over 500 known stations, and you could assume more than half are in L.A. http://www.afdc.energy.gov/afdc/fuels/electricity_locations.html |
