The Electric Vehicle Company founded by Mark Parr and his brother has spent the last few years perfecting their version of an electric Smart car. Their company is based on Guernsey, an island in the English Channel. The Guernsey Smart EV is capable of 60 mph and has a range of up to 65 miles. It has regenerative braking and is a perfect companion for city traffic or as commuter vehicle. Did not hear anything yet about their website, but Smart has announced its own EV. The Electric Smart is expected for 2010. Source Sustainable Business On top of that Mercedes Manager Dieter Zetsche also announced a Mercedes running on electricity only by 2010.
