The Electric Vehicle Company founded by Mark Parr and his brother has spent the last few years perfecting their version of an electric Smart car. Their company is based on Guernsey, an island in the English Channel.

The Guernsey Smart EV is capable of 60 mph and has a range of up to 65 miles. It has regenerative braking and is a perfect companion for city traffic or as commuter vehicle.

For more info contact:
Mark Parr at The Electric Vehicle Company in Guernsey, Channel Islands, Great Britain call +44 (0)1481 264434 or FAX +44 (0)1481 268153

According to the BBC, the price is £15,000 ($29,840)

Hi Franko30, no unfortunately not. I was browsing the web for a while but could not find anything. Maybe its under construction? I will ask the community over at batteryvehiclesociety.org.uk. Maybe they know more. Stay tuned.
Cheers, Stefan

Did not hear anything yet about their website, but Smart has announced its own EV. The Electric Smart is expected for 2010.

On top of that Mercedes Manager Dieter Zetsche also announced a Mercedes running on electricity only by 2010. Source: Reuters

If all those announcements are true then I have to upgrade the server software in order to cope with such a big EV Forum! icon_razz.gif
