Struggling automaker Chrysler recently presented in one go four electric cars it plans to build. Good news! I would be happy if they are able to get at least one onto the road by 2010...Chrysler is the latest automaker to announce EVs from its assembly lines to be ready by 2010. Besides a small city car called 'Peapod', Chrysler plans to sell an electric sports car - the Dodge EV, a range-extended Jeep Wrangler and a Mini-Van. 3 out of the four cars are heavy and are based on the well known gas guzzlers. Even if Chrysler lives up to its promises to build electric versions of the Jeep etc., they will soon be called Chrysler EV guzzlers... Or what would be another suitable word for an EV using electricity exessivly? |

http://www.cnbc.com/id/26850309 www.Chryslergoeselectric.com They're half-way to my 'dream configuration' family hauler that I say will make big bucks in America -- they just need to change the gasoline engine to diesel so you can bio-diesel fill it! Of course this still falls into my "I'll believe it when I see it" category. M@ Commute suck? Twike it; You'll like it!
