Ok Folks, The URL below will take you to an electric vehicle designed and built by a friend in Mendocino CA. He is also actively involved in politics so his energy is pulled in several different directions. If you like the concept you might give him some encouragement to move it forward. I just talked with him last night and it only needs some paperwork to get it moving forward. To give you some background on Bernie, some of his work is sitting on the Moon. Hi Loren, thanks for posting this link. This guy did a great job in my opinion. I like the idea and the simplicity of the vehicle. One big disadvantage though is the design. But if the kit price would remain as low as $5000 without batteries, it does have a realistic chance. It certainly does what most people need. It gets you efficiently around in your local area! I would be delighted to hear that this project gets a go-ahead. :thumbsup: |
