Dear all, It has been a long time ago since I've posted an official update message on this board. There were simply too many things going on! One thing that kept me away from the computer was my own electric vehicle (Twike). It was delivered in February 2009 and we have had good fun with it so far. It carries me reliably to and from work and on weekends we use it for trips to the countryside, to see friends etc. What impresses me most, are the lithium ion batteries. They are safe and easy too handle, heat up during use only very little and offer a range which is enough to meet our transportation needs. I am looking forward to many more safe, clean and fun electric miles So whatz up on the Green Car Network? Our network of green car enthusiasts has continued to grow steadily. Additionally to the main site, ecocarforum.com now also hosts the forum of the TWIKE Club Switzerland. It is administered separately and has its own design. A few weeks ago the first private forum was launched. It offers the development team of the Alleweder (a super-lightweight three wheel recumbent bike with fairing) a platform to exchange informations. I found that our logo and website header could be a bit more alive and I've had plans to change it for some time. I wanted the header to be as neutral as possible and found in the Solartaxi the answer. The Solartaxi showed the world that clean solutions are here and I found it an ideal messenger for this site. Also over the last few months SPAM was posted regularly and its a pain to remove it. Please report any spam you might see on the site so that we can continue to enjoy a spam-free Green Car Network. A big thank you to all of you who invest their time to write in our forums. It has created very interesting discussions and is a good resource for those looking for opinions and answers. Every visit, every posting helps to spread the word about greener transport solutions. Solutions which are fact -not fiction and already here.
