I've been told hybrid technologies is starting to deliver some all electric vehicles. Has anyone actually seen or owned one of them yet ?

I hear a lot about the vehicles and lithium batteries but have never seen a car magazine test one. Now with ACPropulsion they drove the eBox to a car test drive , let them test and then drove home. Now that's a real EV test.

Yeah, I had read recently that AC Propulsion is finally "getting with the program" and has started a project to do electric conversions. Seems odd that they would have been so adamant about not building TZeros for others. It was the refusal of AC Propulsion to build any copies of their TZero prototype for others which lead Martin Eberhard and a few others to start Tesla Motors, so they could have something similar. Anyway, $55,000 on top of the regular car's price seems very pricy. Still in the realm of "Rich man's toys" only.

Here's hoping ZENN comes thru with a highway-capable sedan, or Miles Automotive comes through with its SX500.

Oh, and several car magazines have tested a Tesla Roadster prototype. But none has tested a production model-- doesn't seem to be much point to them doing so until the new, upgraded drivetrain (more powerful motor, no transmission) is put into one. I think they said that won't be until sometime in September.

Hi Guys.

They say my car will be ready to ship in a couple of days. It is the Liv Wise from Hybridtechnologies. When I get it I will post more info and video.

Hi Jack. My plan is to put it up for sale if it preforms as advertised.

This whole thing as turned me into a nut. I go to extreme highs anticipating the car to lows thinking maybe HBT will have trouble in these economic times and that the car might not preform to spec. Hopefully soon we will know more.

Below is a link to a recent article I found about the guy who purchased the Smart Car through Sams Club from HBT. I think he purchased it about a year ago.

Hi guys. I have my Liv Wise Yaris.

http://www.hybridtechnologies.com/

The car is pretty neat. I like it. It had some problems. It would beeb and then shut off power. It did this at high speeds more than low. I consider this a small glitch. I have gone 70 miles at 55mph or better and another 25 miles in the city on one charge. The car meters indicated I had approx 15 miles left. Recently I tried to do all city driving to get the range in the city. I went 106.4 in the city according to Garmin GPS. The speedo is approx 4 miles fast so the odometer read 114.4. I go from Garmin GPS because I believe it to be more accurate than the odometer. None of the driving above would be considered hyper-mile driving. I think it will go 120 with carful driving under 40-45 mph. I like to put the pedal to the floor at red lights, the gas cars really have to burn a lot of fuel to keep up.

Most of the components are off the shelve. Asure controler, Solectria motor. The BMS is proprietary and the charger I have not yet identafied. I like the car very much. Hope it last a long time or atleased 1500 cycles. Take Care Freeridelectric.

Thanks freeridelectric for your review. More than a 100 mile range per charge is amazing. What was your price for delivery if I may ask?

And what kind of Lithium batteries are they using? LiFePo4?
Cheers
