Rinspeed all-electric UC? concept

 RInspeed unveiled official pictures and info of a new electric car concept it will show off in March at the Geneva Auto Show. It can go 65 miles on a charge and be recharged in about 2 hours (with European 220v outlets.)

If Rinspeed get its way, it will set up the little car to be able to go on trains and recharge during journeys -- so the it can actually be an EV used for long trips.

 Rinspeed have come up with all sorts of concepts over the years. You can normally rely on them to come up with something whacky!

This time, however, they seem to have come up with a car that looks reasonably practical and could potentially even have a chance of making it into production. Mind you, they're going to have some fearsome competition if they do put it into production: Renault and Peugeot both have plans for similarly sized electric vehicles and the first of the electric Smart EDs are already on the road.
