According to a Swiss Regional Newspaper, the funding of the Mindset EV is secured and production will start in November 2011. Beginning of 2012 another 1500 cars will be manufactured. The first few cars will be sold for about 100'000 USD. A range extender with a 1 cylinder 300ccm engine will increase the range if necessary. Financing is secured according the initiator of the project, Lorenzo Schmid. GEM (Global Emerging Markets), an international investment group has committed 75 Mio USD to the project. An amount which is hopefully enough to get the project launched and the product established. Twike 890
