A rather interesting concept car has been on display recently in Australia. The 3-wheeler has been designed and built as a prototype at the University of South Australia. Specs: 0 to 100 kph in 10 sec. Topspeed 120km/h Range 150 km plus 7kwh 44kg lithium ion polymer battery. Charging Costs: $1 AUD per 100km The car has room for the driver, one passenger and two overnight bags. Chassis is made of aluminium honeycomb. Body is foam and fibreglass with an acrylic canopy. Trev is in the process of being registered as a roadworthy vehicle on SA roads. |
