Twike IV, the prototype made in Germany by the Twike people, has won the Wave 2011! Congratulations! Among the Twike IV, vehicles like the Tazzari Zero, Tesla Roadster, Mitsubishi i-MieEV and other production or electric prototype cars participated in the electric car event. In 2010 the event was going around the world and was called the zero-race. Initiator Louis Palmer changed the tour to a more local event. The wave 2011 route covered several countries in central Europe. I think that this is a move into the right direction. Change usually happens on a local level and people are more interested to see vehicles in action that they can actually buy. I hear that there will be a 'Wave' initiated in India soon.
