I picked up this piece of information when browsing the web. According the founder of the Solartaxi, Louis Palmer, the car could be mass-produced for 6000 Euro.

The Solartaxi uses a Zebra battery giving it a range of 400km/250miles. Without the trailer (solar panel) the range is about 200km/125miles.

Are 6000 Euro a possible scenario? How many Solartaxis would have to be produced to be able to sell it at this low price?
