I'm surprised that the REVA NXG has not yet received a mention on your forums yet. The NXG is a two seat sportscar that is due to be put on sale in 2011. I saw the prototype in Bangalore early last year and then saw the car at the official launch in Frankfurt at the motor show last September. It is beautifully built and should be a good 'pocket rocket' sports car, much in the same line as the old Honda CRX or Fiat X1/9. The roof is detachable and the car has a range of 200km. Top speed is electronically limited to somewhere around 135km/h. Price wise, the car is going to be very competitive when compared to all the other electric sports cars that are being announced: €22,950. It was about time it was mentioned. To be honest with you I wanted to invest more time into maintaining and developing the site plus writing on it over the last few months. Because of the limited time available I often got a bit behind with keeping up to date on the side of all the ongoing EV developments. I am also planning to kick some forums out and bring in new ones. For example the Mini E, Smart ED and the i-MiEV are about to be introduced onto our roads and I believe there are enough drivers and people out there in order to have a lively discussion. I like the design of the NXG. It's got something of the Civic, just a few inches smaller. ecocarforum.com - Green Car Network
