Battery replacement on the Think City

Batteries on the Think City will be leased for about £100 respectively 200 Euro per month. Apparently Think wants to replace the batteries every five years to maintain performance. That would mean a Think City owner pays approx. 6000 pounds/12000 Euros for the battery over a period of five years.

That sounds like a lot of money and it is, but given the lower operating costs and other benefits you gain with it, the car is unlikely to be more expensive than a Smart Four Four (see my cost comparison here)
