The Think City is currently only available in Norway. Think Global is planning to announce an EV friendliness index in early 2009, meaning that this list will tell buyers outside Norway where and when they can expect to be able to buy a Think City. So which city is the most EV friendly city in Europe? Factors such as charging stations, government incentives, tax rebates, freedom from congestion charges, free parking, freedom to use bus lanes, customer discounts on electricity etc. are considered. Here is my own top 5 list: 1. London (no congestion charge) 2. Paris (government incentives) 3. Milan (pollution at high levels...free parking?) 4. Zurich (good network of free charging stations) 5. .... Whats your guess? Whats the best place for the Think City (or any EV...) to enter the market? |
