The new Th!nk EV will be powered by a ZEBRA battery which will give the car an impressive range of 180km and a top speed of 100km/h. The ZEBRA battery is a warm battery running at a temperature of about 300 degrees Celsius. It is encased in an insulated thermos with minimal heat loss. The TH!NK city can be parked off-plug overnight (or for several days) without requiring any battery warming before start up. If parked off-plug for several weeks, the battery will "freeze" and need to be heated up before driving. The Th!nk is currently available for sale in Norway. Production and sale for other markets will follow soon (probably 200 We hope to see many Th!nk drivers soon! |

Price: 25000€ Battery-rental aproximatly 150€ per month / 1800€ per year aproximatly 1.7€ /100km for electricity quite a lot of money for a small car. And you really have to use the car quite a lot, otherwise you lose the money for the battery-rental without any gain. And you lose the electricity for heating the zebra-battery (read something about 40 Watt somewere else, maybe even more for this big battery) But they managed to achive most of the petrol-cars "luxuries", a high safety standart and a good range (ca. 170km) . Of course, for the "price" of a weight of 1000kg for a 2-seater. Heavy. The car does not match my demands, but I really hope the best for it's future. Alleweder 4
