Toyota to introduce Li-Ion Plug-In hybrid vehicles

ecoadmin Administrator registered since: 20.07.2007 Posts: 505	Toyota has announced that it will start to introduce PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle) to fleet customers in the US and elsewhere by 2010. The announcement was made at the 2008 North American Intl. Auto Show in Detroit. A mass production of Li-Ion batteries is currently being investigated at the Omori plant in Japan by Panasonic EV Energy (Joint Venture Toyota and Matsushita).
