A Swiss initiated the project 'icare' earlier this year and he is planning to circumnavigate the world in a modified TWIKE in 2010. The vehicle gets its power from solar cells mounted on a trailer attached to the Twike. During stops a mobile wind turbine will additionally produce electricity to power the vehicle. At the moment only the french version of the project website is online, english to follow soon:
