I find an article from December 2006 which claims 150 had been sold that year. http://tinyurl.com/y7ork9 But based on the Wired expose of the ZAP company, it would seem the Xebra is mainly a confidence game to get people to invest in dealerships for a car that won't sell. http://tinyurl.com/25m9st [This article was edited 1 times, at last 02.06.2008 at 18:49.] |

I just heard a pretty interesting podcast on EVcast.com about ZAP. According Gary Starr, founder of ZAP, more than 800 ZAPs have been delivered so far. The podcast is informative because you get to hear both sides of the story. The good and the bad about ZAP. The cast is about 40 mins long. On top of this there is some pretty interesting stuff on how the auto industry works, who gets loans and what it costs to develop and certify a car. |

Very Interessting, that Zap claims not having given dates for their new developments. If this is true (and i tend to believe them), then it is a big shame for many publishers to spread false information. But anyway, i am not angry anymore about wrong or unrealistic release dates. I stick to the principle only to look on facts (whart is on the road today), not promisses. This way i am very pleased that Zap is in deed producing and selling EV's every day. Sad is only that they can not be bought here in germany... Alleweder 4
