I am happy to note that the Loremo board has decided to come up with a el-version of this car. Engine output will be approx. 20 kilowatts and V-max 170 km/h.
In economic mode it should consume around 6kwh/100km accoding the company.
Battery capacity and mix has not been specified as of now. It should be available beginning of 2010.

There are still a lot of open questions regarding the E-Loremo. Loremo has cancelled a participitation at the Geneva motorshow and wants to spend the money on finetuning and development instead. A smart move in my opinion. But will Loremo be able to produce an EV in such a short time frame without having much experience in the EV-business? What will be the price for an E-Loremo?

And 6kwh/100km? Isn't that a bit too optimistic?

What comes to my mind is: What will be the weight of an E-Loremo? The Diesel version was announced with less than 600kg. But that surely will go up due to the batteries?

Definitely - especially since the Loremo will be driven at speeds around 80-100 km/h most of the time.

On the other hand: the Loremo is a very aerodynamic vehicle...

Cheers
