Forum FAQ (disregard all * in examples, used for demo only) Q: How do I insert a link in the forum? A: If you just copy/paste the link from the address bar in your browser, then simply paste it into your post text. The system recognizes is automatically as weblink. Q: How can I link to a youtube video so that it shows directly in the forum? A: Enter the youtube link-code in this format: [youtxxx=CCxVClu7GC0] - replace youxxx by 'youtube'! Thats all! The video is now shown directly in the forum. In youtube the link is shown like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCxVClu7GC0 Q: Can I use the 'URL' button on top of the text box to include links? A: Yes you can. This method shows only the link text instead of the entire url. Simply mark the text element you want to link with another webpage and copy your complete url just behind the equation sign. E.g. [*url=http://www.ecocarforum.com]Link to ecocarforum.com[/url*] Q: How can I include a picture in my post? A: Simply write the url to your picture (stored on your server or elsewhere) into the posting textboxt and mark it. Then press the image-button on top of the textbox. This wraps the url or web-adress with the [*img]-tag. Post the message. Done! E.g. [*img]Enter here your link to the picture[/img*] Q: How do I use the bold, underline and italic text function? A: Mark the text you want to modify and press the relevant button on top of the textbox. Preview or send your posting. Q: How can I upload an avatar or update my forum profile? A: After login go to the forum and click on 'My Profile' in the menu tree. Save your changes. Q: I would like to change my e-mail address. What do I have to do? A: Solution: Login with your username and password. Click on the 'Profile' button' next to the 'Logout' button and change your e-mail address in the presented form.
