Green Car Network Community Update February 2008 Dear Members, It's only a little more than half a year ago since I've launched ecocarforum.com – the green car network. During the last few months I was able to welcome many new members and I would like to say thank you to all of you for joining! So what has been happening since the launch? The most active forum was and still is the TWIKE forum. A big thank you goes to our regular contributers 'childress' and 'Franko30'. With their regular postings, insight and knowledge of the Twike, they've made the Twike forum a valuable resource for Twike enthusiasts. 2008 will see the launch of some new exciting electric cars such as the Think, and it will be interesting to see how they perform on the market. I am sure we will have plenty to discuss this year... For those of you who have not been on the site for a while, I recommend you to browse our site to see what has changed. You have now the possibility to submit links to other web resources related to more sustainable cars. Additionally I have added a video feature, which makes it possible to watch youtube videos directly on our website. So if you want to share a video with the community and have it on your own computer or on a video service such as youtube, please let me know. I am more than happy to include it on ecocarforum.com. The outlook: I am currently working on various improvements related to the forum software and I hope to have them implemented somewhen in March this year. I am sorry if I fill up your e-mail mailbox with this community newsletter. It is my intention to publish such news from now on in the forum and send only a membership reminder respectively news via e-mail only once a year. I would like to close this letter by wishing you all an exciting 2008 with hopefully many eco-friendly driven miles or kilometers. I look forward to seeing you soon again in our forum for interesting new discussions.
