Loremo price increases to €15'000, fuel consumption too...

Since yesterday the new Loremo website is online and the company announced at the same time same major changes to the car. The price for the basic version has now gone up from 10'000 Euro to 15'000. That is considerably more and will have an impact on the sales. The price increase would not be such a big problem if the fuel consumption would remain at the initially planned 1.5ltr/100km. This value has now been corrected to 2ltr/100km. Is the Loremo going the same way as many other projects before? Too expensive and consumption similar to a small petrol/diesel car? Or will the project even be bought by one of the big car companies? What is your impression of the Loremo and its current development stage? ecocarforum.com - Green Car Network

The concept looks good enouth, so i am still hoping, that loremo will be a successfull project. I would not bet on a real fuel demand below 2l, but below 2.5l would be not bad to. Lets hope, they can keep the price low... I am not sure, that the last increase of sales-price will be the last one. But another few thosand of € more, and they will have problems selling large numbers. Alleweder A4
