The innovative Enertia E-Bike should be available on sale in the second half of 2008. The company producing the E-Bike has said the following: We would like to be building and shipping these bikes towards the second half of next year. We will be able to give a firm date, I would say towards the beginning of next year but right now we are not giving you a hard date but we will say second half of next year. I just did a bit of research on pricing of this good looking bike. This is what I've found: The first set of bikes will cost around $15,000 each when they become available later this year, with subsequent iterations to be priced at a slightly more affordable $12,000. About 100,000 people have already expressed interest in purchasing the bike through Brammo’s website. The company seems to be also financially in good shape. A press release stated that the company raised $10m. I hope this is still correct in these days of financial turmoil. The press release is dated 20 September 2008 ecocarforum.com - Green Car Network
