Think Global AS of Norway is now about to relaunch the car with improved range and attractive features. As far as I'm informed, the first sales activities will be in in Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Are there any signs that the Think will be sold in the US? Kleiner Perkins and RockPort Capital, two leading US Cleantech investors launch a joint venture with Norwegian electrical vehicle company Think Global. A precise starting date is yet to be announced but the company is planning to sell the first vehicles to the US market in 2009 with California as one of the first states to be targeted. The Think is currently in production in Norway and international sales are slated to begin in Scandinavia, with Switzerland and France also being the initial focus areas. childress registered since: 14.08.2007 Posts: 76	Th!nk gets my vote as the most likely competitor with my favorite vehcile - Das Twike It obeys the first rule of green REDUCE, in that it is appropriately sized for a typical US household (something like 60% of US households are 2-person). It's just right for an in-town commuter vehicle, and yet if they can actually deliver on a 180km range at sustained highway speeds, could easily get most folks to a weekend trip. Further, it's crash tested with airbags, something the US Manufacturers (as well as Twike) get around by being a 3-wheeled vehicle, aka, motorcycle, which does not require crash testing. I seriously doubt with today's monetary exchange rates that it'll happen between US$30-35,000 though. Commute suck? Twike it; You'll like it! http://www.uiuc.edu/goto/twike
