EVC has presented a series of new E-Scooters and competes directly with Vectrix: Metro, 8 kW Roadking, 15 kW and the X21 with 21(!)kW More infos on the manufacturers website http://www.evcusa.com/ and on this video: http://cbs4denver.com/video/?id=41577@kcnc.dayport.com&cid=143 The motorcycles are powered ny Lithium Polymer batteries and the X21 starts at $10'950. That is an attractive price tag, but isn't there a catch somewhere? AFAIK Li-Polymer batteries have a relatively low number of recharge cycles... The website also does not state whether it is made in US or ...maybe China? |
